Tomato Chutney



      Ingredients.                                                   Quantity

1. Tomatoes.                                                              3-4 
2. Ginger & Garlic paste                                         1 tsp
3. Green chillies.                                                      2 no.
4. Onions.                                                                  1 no.
5. Jeera                                                                       1 tsp
6. Turmeric powder.                                               1 tsp                                   
7. Garam masala.                                                    2 tbsp
8. Red chilli powder                                               1 tsp
9. Anchor powder or lemon juice.                      1/2 tsp
10. Oil.                                                                      1 tsp   
11. Salt                                                                       as per taste

Method

1. Finely chop all the veges and keep.

2. Heat oil in a pan . Add jeera and stir for a minute.

3. Then add ginger & garlic paste and fry till they become brown .

4. Now add onions add fry till they become light brown.

5. Now add green chillies and the chopped tomatoes and immediately add salt and stir it .

6. Cover with a lid and allow tomatoes to cook .

7. Remove the lid and check the mixture .

8. Now add all the masalas and add half cup of water and cook it for 5 minutes .

9. After all water gets evaporated . Turn off the gas nob and allow it to cool .

10. You can serve like that also but if you want a light and thick chutney then blend it in a mixer or a blender.

11. Serve it with samosas or bhajias
